Introduction

The Postgraduate Program in Clinical Endocrinology at the Escola Paulista de Medicina, Universidade Federal de São Paulo was established in 1975. Initially, all the activities were aimed at medical professionals and from 1998 onwards they were extended to non-medical professionals, closing a major gap in the field.

The objectives of the Program are to train personnel qualifying them to carry out teaching and research activities, to perform high-quality professional practices and to produce knowledge in the different areas of endocrinology.
